Emily B's live shows have been described as Joplinesque; an electric mix of rock, folk, and blues. A stalwart groupie once said of her vibe, "It's as if Alanis and Jamiroquai had a wee babe". Hailing from the wild woods of Muskoka, her songs are rooted in unashamed vulnerability, and shimmer with a

fierce and resilient spirit. 

Her first single 'Into Your Garden', was written and recorded at Orange Lounge Studios and Seneca College as part of their Independent Music Production program.  

Her debut EP, Past Perfect, was recorded in Toronto at Leadfoot Studio. 

She is an advocate for women in the arts, curating shows that promote female-fronted acts, such as 

 OUR BODIES OUR WORK, a project in support of SISTERING, a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed.

She is currently living in Muskoka, playing at local haunts whenever she gets the chance :)
